Fueling New York, One Bowl at a Time

At Power Bowls, we’re all about fresh ingredients, bold Korean flavors, and food that makes you feel good. Located in the heart of the Financial District, our fast-casual kitchen turns simple grains, crisp veggies, and savory proteins into colorful, satisfying meals. Each bowl is crafted with care — from our house-made kimchi to perfectly seasoned bulgogi, spicy pork, tofu, or chicken teriyaki. Whether you’re in a rush or ready to relax, Power Bowls brings balance, flavor, and energy straight to your table.

Meet the Woman Behind the Vision

Silvia Kim is the co-owner of Power Bowls and a pharmacist whose journey to the restaurant world began with a life-changing experience. After being diagnosed with cancer and spending two years in treatment, Silvia decided it was time to pursue the dream she had long put on hold — opening her own restaurant. Partnering with Elisa Kim, a longtime family friend with years of experience in New York’s restaurant scene, she brought Power Bowls to life in December 2024. For Silvia, this venture is more than just a business; it’s a statement of resilience and inspiration. As she says, “We really want to be an inspiration for not only young women, but for middle-aged women.”
