Meant to write this review a while ago and just remembered.
A few weeks ago, I had placed an order online that I didn’t realize wasn’t fully submitted. The store was crowded and the line was long (for good reason, the food is really really good) the owner kindly expedited my order and was extremely kind about the situation. Great food and even better people.

Absolutely outstanding! The food tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. The beef hummus was the highlight of the meal—rich, tender, perfectly seasoned, and served with warm, fresh bread that made every bite even better. The salads were crisp, the portions were generous, and everything arrived beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. Great food and sincerely friendly people, this place is one of the best kept secrets in Lakewood. And don't let appearances fool you. Oh, I know the impulse to go somewhere "fancy", and the attitude "if I'm not spending at least a hunny how good can it be?!" Please don't be silly. The food at Yerushalmi is not only the best bang for your buck in Lakewood (or anywhere for that matter); it's simply the best, period, good enough that you'll feel like a million bucks while only spending $25-$30.

My wife and I ate there tonight and I wasn't ready for how amazing this place really is.
From the moment you walk in, the staff are absolutely incredible. You really feel like home. The food was a 10/10 with a real authentic Israel feel.
It felt like you were being served a home cooked meal.
Lastly, the prices were extremely reasonable, and I left extremely satisfied.
There were literally no negatives I was able to find. This is my new go-to place, and Im on the other side of Lakewood.

Me and my friends enjoyed some real tasty and authentic Israeli food. I ordered a baby chicken Shawarma on a Frena bread with tons of toppings, and a hummus falafel plate. Shimon is a great host and will make you feel at home right away. ❤️🌯

If you don’t give this place a 5 star review…… not sure what to say. The food is incredible! Fresh and truly delicious with a dash of uniqueness. The portions are huge. The owner is potentially the nicest man in Lakewood.
All I can say is that the kosher restaurant world in Lakewood is gonna have to step up their game to compete with these legends.
