Jenny Quach is the owner of Phobar, a Vietnamese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York that opened in 2023. Opening Phobar was a childhood dream — a chance to share her food with the community. The menu is packed with Vietnamese favorites, but Jenny has one she’ll vouch for every morning: the spicy short rib.

Delivery matters at Phobar — it’s how Jenny reaches guests who can’t travel in. But getting there was painful. “The hardest part about delivery was the high fees and having to use multiple systems and multiple printers,” she says. “From day one, when we started looking into our numbers, we realized that we were losing money and not making any profits.” Between third-party commissions eating into every order and a kitchen cluttered with four tablets and a stack of printers, the math simply wasn’t adding up.
Signing up with Sauce was an aha moment. “We were able to lower our third-party fees. We were able to integrate our four tablets into one, which was great. We also maximized our kitchen space with one printer,” Jenny says.
The workflow is refreshingly simple. “We just got an order from Sauce. Here we can view our new order, and once it’s done we simply change it from new to complete and they’ll send a driver,” she explains. Less equipment, fewer fees, and a cleaner line — all from day one.
“Ever since we’ve been using Sauce delivery, we’ve been able to reach more customers. The radius has been broadened and everything’s been very streamlined,” Jenny says. And the savings travel with the orders — lower fees for Phobar mean better prices for guests, too.
Her final take: “Sauce is a great fit for small businesses like us — or any restaurant, really.
