SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program description
Sauce (“Sauce”, “we”, “us”) operates an SMS program for restaurant owners and operators who request a product demo through our website. The program sends two kinds of message to the mobile number you provide:
- a one-time passcode (OTP) used to verify that the number belongs to you; and
- demo scheduling, confirmation, reminder and coordination messages relating to the demo you requested.
We do not send promotional or bulk marketing text messages to numbers collected through this program.
2. How you join
You join by entering your own mobile number on our demo booking form, ticking the consent checkbox that appears next to it, and verifying the number with the passcode we send. The checkbox is never pre-ticked. We do not buy, rent, import or otherwise obtain numbers from third parties, and no number is enrolled without the holder completing this verification.
Providing a mobile number and consenting to these messages is not a condition of any purchase. If you would prefer to book a demo without receiving text messages, contact us at getsauce.com/contact and we will arrange it by email or phone instead.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. You will typically receive about 4 messages per month, tied to the specific demo you requested — a verification code, a booking confirmation, a reminder before the meeting, and occasional coordination messages if your meeting time changes. This is not a recurring or ongoing campaign.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Sauce does not charge you for these messages. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply according to your plan.
5. Opting out — STOP
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages from this program. Opt-outs are honoured immediately and the number is suppressed from all further sends. To rejoin, submit the booking form again and complete verification.
6. Getting help — HELP

7. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside our control. Not all mobile devices or carriers may support the program.
8. Your privacy and your mobile information
Mobile phone numbers and consent information collected for this SMS program are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with the messaging service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose. 9. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorised user of the mobile number you submit. Do not submit a number that is not yours.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “last updated” date above will change to reflect it.
